Create your own set of resources for Stone Age!

Stone Age is a great game, and there are several ways you could put together an upgrade if you want to (our ***recommendations linked below). To create your own custom set, just find each resource that you want and choose the desired quantity for your cart.

 

The game has:

 

28 wood: wood cross-sections, ***wood branches or log piles

18 clay: ***less-detailed bricks or modern bricks

12 stone: less-detailed stones or ***more-detailed stones

10 gold: ***realistic gold bars (made of metal), realistic gold nuggets (made of metal), or metallic gold bars (made of wood)

 

As for the food, there are currently 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. It's basically treated like a currency, where you can make change etc, and don't need dozens of tokens per player. Although not denominated, you could put together a set using one or more of the food options we have on our site (but the players would need to know what each was "worth". Good options might be our steaks, berries, grapes, apples, carrots, fish option 1, fish option 2, fish option 3, and some others from our premium resource bits. If you see another token in a different game upgrade kit that doesn't seem to be available separately, just let us know and we'll check for you. Almost everything could be had separately if you wanted it.

 

If you didn't notice our Character Meeples for Stone Age, you may want to check them out! Some people have also bought our stone age tool tokens to replace the cardboard version of the same, but it's not exactly a simple swap, as the tools in the game have a value of 1, 2, 3, or 4. So you need more of them, and it might not feel perfectly intuitive.
